Hevosenkenka Theatre of Finland is famous for its "human puppets" - human-sized puppets.
The Vietnam water puppet troupe will bring to Finland typical program of 16 traditional items with familiar ones such as Teu, Dragon Dance, Unicorn Dance, and Phoenix Dance, Fighting against foxes catching ducks, Fishing, Agriculture, Fairy Dance, and Octet Orchestra etc.
In addition, From August 25 to October 10, 2008, 11 other water puppet artists will arrive in Finland to attend a training workshop and sharing experiences with their Finnish colleagues.
It is expected that in November 2009, Finnish puppet artists will come to Vietnam in a study tour to learn and share experiences with Vietnamese puppet artists. This will be a step in preparation for the second International Puppet Festival to be held in Vietnam in 2010.
