On the evening of September 3rd , 2019, the Vietnam National Puppetry Theater solemnly held a final rehearsal of the play "The well of village". This is an annual performance planned by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Performing Arts with the Vietnam National Puppetry Theater.
Attending the event were leaders:
-Mr. Ta Quang Dong - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
- Mr. Le Minh Tuan - Deputy Director of the Department of Performing Arts
- Mr. Do Ky - Deputy Head of Art Department, Department of Performing Arts
Together with all leaders, artists, civil servants, officials of the Vietnam National Puppetry Theater, representatives of cultural - art press agencies.
The play " The well of village" is a unique program that combines skillfully between water puppet and various art forms, using traditional music and choreography to depict the highlights of Vietnamese folk culture. The stage scene recreates the Vietnamese village with banyan trees, the water wharf, the communal stage combined with the light to create a sparkling, fanciful and poetic space, contributing to the success of the show.
The play received praise and positive comments on the performances from the Art Council to help the show become more and more perfect.
