On the morning of September 10th, 2019, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Stage Theater Artist Association held the 10th Anniversary of the Vietnamese Theater Day and the National Theatrical Organization's death anniversary. Many senior artists and artists from all over the world gathered at Dai Nam theater on this great day.
This is the day when artists and people working in the art field express their gratitude to their ancestors, for creating a unique form of theatrical art that is worth enriching the cultural identity, and to pay tribute to the audience for accompanying the artists and writers, preserving and developing the Vietnamese revolutionary theater arts.
Besides, it is also an opportunity to review the past activities, evaluate the achievements and weak limitations, in order to overcome, unite, strive and create many works with private content. High quality of art, contributing to building spiritual life, encouraging the whole people to unite, striving to bring our country to new heights.
Also on this occasion, the Vietnam Puppet Theater was honored to receive 2 awards:
- Consolation prize: Excellent theatrical performance award for "The Toad" by writter Meritorious Artist Hoang Luan and director People's Artist Tien Dung.
- Excellent individual award: Outstanding puppet performer for Meritorious Artist Linh Kha and artist Dat Hien as the toad’s wife in "The Toad".
