In September 2017, artists from the Vietnam National Puppetry Theatre will harvest their international "performance season" at different international theatrical and marionette festivals in many countries wolrdwide.
- From 6-12 September 2017, they will take part in "the 5th China-ASEAN Theatrical Festival Week" at the invitation of the Nanning National Cultural and Art Institute, China;
- From 12-23 September 2017, take part in the 4th International Marrionette "Tea in Mytischi" Festival to be organized in Mytischi city, Moscow and give shows for overseas Vietnamese living in Russia;
- From 14-18 September 2017, take part in the “Japan Festival” in Kanagawa, in cooperation with Viet Bac Folk Song and Dance Enssemble;
- From Nov. 13 – Dec. 23, take part in the 21st Festival de L'Imaginaire at the invication of the World Cultural House Directorator with a folk puppet program;
- From Sept. 27 – Oct. 3, 2017, give puppet performance to oversease Vietnamese and children of the third generation of oversease Vietnamese in Singapore at the invitation of the Vietnamese embasy in Singapore. In particular, there will be puppet shows for people at a nursing home and children at an orphanage in Singapore on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival 2017;
The Vietnam National Puppet Theatre will bring to the festivals and events stage puppet shows and traditional puppet shows very rich, diverse, novel and very attractive and interesting for internaional friends and oversease Vietnamese viewers. Their programs will help promote the image of Vietnamese culture to the world and share experiences with colleagues from other countries.
